[VIDEO] Honda NSX caught on the Ring with no camouflage on its body image
A pre-production version of the Honda NSX has been spotted on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, while being tested out.
The Honda NSX is still a few months away from being shown in its final production form but that doesn’t mean that the company cannot test different pre-production prototypes. The model in question has been spotted on the Nurburgring recently with no camouflage on its body, being driven hard. We find its engine / exhaust sound quite disappointing because we were expecting something different. This probably means that the final variant of the exotic model will get artificial sound.
The brand new Honda / Acura NSX has been shown back in January, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The sports car is said to have competitors such as the Lamborghini Huracan, the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Porsche 911 Turbo, the McLaren 570S and the Audi R8 V10 in its mind. Under its hood, there will be a 3.5 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which will be sending power to the SH AWD system through a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission. A rear mounted electric motor will be positioned between the internal combustion unit and the gearbox and two other electric motor will be mounted in the front, for dynamic torque vectoring. Rumor has it that the new NSX will come with more than 600 HP. Additional details on it are limited at this time.
