The new Acura NSX has been spotted recently in a parking lot and it couldn’t go by unseen.
The brand new Acura NSX is returning into our attention once again, this time after it has been caught in the wild. The images posted below are showing us the official successor of the legendary supercar, wearing an appealing red shade on its body, quietly sitting around in a parking lot. The model in question couldn’t go by unnoticed and these images, which have been uploaded to Reddit, are the best thing we’ve got on it so far, considering the fact that they are coming from “the real world”.
The 2016 Acura NSX is said to take aim on models such as the Lamborghini Huracan, the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Audi R8 V10, the McLaren 570S and the Porsche 911 Turbo, amongst others. The model in question has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, earlier this year, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The performance vehicle has a 3.5 liter twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, which is connected to the SH AWD system through a 9-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The NSX is also getting a rear-mounted electric motor, positioned between the transmission and the internal combustion unit, along with two electric motors, mounted in the front, for dynamic torque vectoring. No official performance figures have been announced so far and all we know is that this needs less than 4 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill.
