The Honda Odyssey is arguably the best minivan on the market today, but Chrysler’s brand-new 2017 Pacifica looks like it could dethrone the current champ.
The Odyssey features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that’s good for 248 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. It’s matched to a six-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to its ACE body structure and plethora of airbags, it’s also a Top Safety pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Chrysler’s Pacifica is back from the dead. If you remember, this nameplate used to be used on a swanky crossover several years ago. Now it’s the replacement for their Town & Country. It boasts 40 minivan firsts and some 115 other innovations. Motivation is provided by a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine.
