could be better than a high-revving, high-power racer that is street-legal and
weighs in at just under 893 lbs? What if it offered all the perks of a motorcycle
and the maneuverability of car, but still gave you the perfect excuse to leave
your passengers behind and tear up the road or track by yourself? The winner of
its Global Design Project, Honda has just revealed the Project 2&4, which
was designed by its own Asaka motorcycle studio in collaboration with the

At
just 8.9-feet long and 6-feet wide, the lightweight car offers an insane
power-to-weight ratio. It is powered by Honda’s 999 cc V4 RC213V four-stroke engine
mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission, with 14,000 RPM, its peak power
of 215 hp arrives at 13,000 RPM. “The exhilarating feeling created from
the open cockpit is significantly enhanced by the driver’s seat, uniquely
suspended just above the road. The ‘floating seat’ design places the driver as
close to the action as possible, evoking the freedom of a bike and completing
the immersion provided by Honda Project 2&4’s extreme performance”.
Best of all, it comes with no room for passengers. The car/cycle’s reveal will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
