Japan – 2015 Honda Shuttle officially unveiled image
The 2015 Honda Shuttle has been officially unveiled for the Japanese domestic market as this should be offered for sale locally over the next few months.
Honda’s newest creation is called the Shuttle and this is being officially unveiled over the web after it has leaked in some patent images just a few weeks ago. The model in question is basically the wagon version of the new Jazz / Fit generation and it is coming with a longer rear overhang, providing it with a supercar cargo capacity over the smaller model, which has 354 liters of space and up to 884 liters with the rear seats folded. The Shuttle should provide more than 500 liters of space with the rear seats up.
The brand new Honda Shuttle has a Honda smart key system, a leather wrapped steering wheel, navigation system, cruise control, LED headlights and taillights, roof rails, fog lights, heated front seats, some wood trim and 16-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. As far as the engine goes, this will come with a 1.5 liter Atkinson cycle engine, backed up by an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. Power is being sent to the all-wheel drive system through a dual-clutch transmission. The average fuel consumption of the car stands at 2.7L / 100km (102.8 mpg UK / 85.6 mpg US). Honda also says that the 1.5 liter engine FWD will also be sold in Japan. Additional details about the car are limited for the moment and will be announced over the next few weeks.
