The Acura NSX has been revived, and that’s mostly good news for enthusiasts. The bad news being most of us will never actually be able to afford the $156,000 supercar. But there may be a more affordable option coming soon…

According to the European Union Intellectual Property Office, Honda recently filed a trademark for use of the ‘ZSX’ moniker. The trademark was filed on July 26th, and could signify the rumored ‘Baby NSX’ that undercuts the 573-horsepower coupe. Though the trademark was filed just a few weeks ago in Europe, it has yet to be renewed in the U.S., having been filed back in December of 2012.

Even without the renewal of the trademark in the U.S. (yet), one Honda engineering told French website Automoto, that the ZSX will be a concept at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It will a hybrid coupe, using Honda’s 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, and is expected to hit the market later in the year.

Of course, the rumors and speculation will continue until the perpetuated ZSX actually comes to fruition. The recent trademark, and the past image trademarks, though, point in the right direction.
