Honda has announced plans to make their return to off-road racing with an all-new model that will compete in the SCORE Baja 1000.
The company is keeping details under wraps but confirmed the model will have a twin-turbo HR35TT V6 engine created by Honda Performance Development. There’s no word on specifications but Honda said the engine will be connected to an Albins ST6 sequential transmission.
The off-road racer will also have a tubular chassis, Fox racing shocks and General Grabber tires. We car also see carbon fiber panels and beadlock wheels.
The Baja 100 kicks off in November and Honda says more information will be released closer to the race.
