Prices for the facelifted 2016 Honda Accord Sedan and 2016 Honda Accord Coupe remain unchanged in the United States, despite a series of updates.
The refreshed Accord Sedan goes on sale today with a starting price of $22,105, corresponding to the base LX trim equipped with the 185hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission. At the other end of the lineup, the luxurious 2016 Accord Sedan Touring equipped with the 278hp 3.5-liter V6 and a six-speed automatic transmission costs $34,125.
The 2016 Accord Coupe goes on sale on August 26 with a starting price of $23,775 for the LX-S trim with the four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission. The range-topping 2016 Accord Coupe Touring equipped with the V6 and six-speed auto is the most expensive model of the 2016 Accord lineup, retailing for $34,125. All prices exclude a $820 destination charge.
For the mid-cycle refresh, Honda has given 2016 Accord models styling updates including newly-available LED headlights, revised and upgraded body and chassis, as well as Honda’s first-ever application of available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Accord also gets the Honda Sensing package of safety assist technologies as a standalone option on all trims except Touring, on which it is standard equipment. Available new features and technologies also include HD Radio, heated rear seats, front and rear parking sensors and more. The 2016 Honda Accord Sedan in Sport trim and Touring versions of the Sedan and Coupe also get 19-inch alloy wheels for the first time.
