Honda HR-V gets new color, higher price for 2017
Honda‘s HR-V has received a slightly higher price and a new color option for the 2017 model year.
The popular crossover now starts at $20,200 (including $835 freight), representing a modest increase of $150 over the 2016 edition.
Buyers can now opt for a Lunar Silver metallic exterior paint, which replaces the outgoing Alabaster Silver hue.
The HR-V’s list of standard features carries over for 2017 including 17-inch alloy wheels, push-button parking brake, rearview camera with guidelines, Bluetooth connectivity and Pandora support, among others. All variants are powered by the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque.
Propelled by strong demand for SUVs and crossovers, HR-V sales have continued to grow at a fast pace in 2016. August deliveries were up by 66 percent to 7,580 units, exceeding the Fit and approaching the sales volume achieved by the Odyssey and Pilot.
