Honda Civic Type R details emerge with latest spy photos

Honda’s Civic Type R is still at least a year away, but already spy photos are leaking out showing some interesting go-fast details of Honda’s hottest hatchback.

The shots, captured in Europe, show several early test mules of the turbocharged Civic Type R — the first Type R to officially come to the U.S.

Because they’re early prototypes, there’s no sign of production headlights on these cars. Instead, they use first-generation Acura ILX headlights, grille and front bumper.
