Enthusiast site CivicX.com has posted the pictures, which show that the rear styling for the hatch largely matches Honda’s Civic concept, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, designed to preview the new model.
Front styling appears to identically match the sedan.
The UK-built Civics in various colours were boarding a cargo ship destined for the US, as the Civic hatch returns to the US market after a lengthy hiatus.
Honda’s Civic Sedan is already on sale in Australia, but a local arrival date for the hatch is yet to be locked-in.
For Honda fans, Hatch deliveries to the US mean the world is one step closer to seeing the new Civic Type-R which recent reports suggest will pack as much as 254kW/450Nm.
The Type-R was spied testing at the Nurburgring in June, and a public debut could come at the Paris Motor Show.
