Honda has introduced two new special editions in the United Kingdom.
First up, the CR-V Black Edition has a gloss black grille and 19-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The special edition has also been equipped with running boards and gloss black skid plates.
The upscale styling continues in the cabin as drivers will find leather seats with contrast stitching and embossed Black Edition logos. Elsewhere, the model has premium floor mats with Black Edition badging.
Under the hood, two engines will be available. The 1.6-liter diesel produces up to 160 horsepower, while the 2.0-liter i-VTEC petrol develops 155 horsepower. The engines can be connected to a manual or automatic transmission and both can be paired to an all-wheel drive system.
The Civic Limited Edition, on the other hand, features additional body-colored components and 16-inch alloy wheels. These are minor changes but Honda says the car has a “slightly more aggressive, sporty look.”
A 1.4-liter i-VTEC engine resides under the hood and produces 100 horsepower. It is connected exclusively to a manual transmission.
Both special editions will go on sale early next month. The Civic Limited Edition will be priced from £14,995 while the CR-V Black Edition will start at £29,995.
