Baby NSX will reportedly be sold as a Honda & have a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine

New details are starting to emerge about the ‘baby’ NSX.

According to Motoring’s sources, the model will ride on a platform that is “almost identical” to the NSX.  However, it will reportedly eschew the twin-turbo V6 for a turbocharged 2.0-liter hybrid engine.  The model is also slated to feature a SH-AWD system with all-wheel steering.

A source went on to say the exterior design is “for all intents and purposes, completed.”  This leads the publication to believe the model could debut as early as the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show or the 2016 North American International Auto Show.

The report goes on to say the model will likely be sold as a Honda as U.S. dealers wanted a sporty car since the NSX went to Acura.
