Acura teases Precision Concept performance car for Detroit
Acura has teased the Precision Concept ahead of its official unveiling next month at the Detroit auto show.
Penned by Acura’s California design studio, the concept is said to showcase a styling direction for the brand’s performance vehicles. Specifically, the form will be used for its next-generation performance-luxury sedans.
“The Acura Precision Concept will signal the stronger and sharper focus of Acura styling on our core DNA we call ‘precision crafted performance,'” said Acura global creative director Dave Marek.
The darkened teaser shows a car with a long hood, aggressive bodywork, thin headlights and a coupe-like profile. Additional details remain unclear, though more information could be announced ahead of the auto show debut.
“It is our intention to more strongly express performance through design and the Acura Precision Concept will serve as the inspiration for the styling and proportion of the next-generation of Acura vehicles, especially for our sedans,” Marek added.
