Stop the presses; the Honda Accord has finally gotten a facelift. One of Honda’s most heralded vehicles is going into 2016 with a new design and some new gadgets to boot as well.

Here’s five things you need to know about the new-look Honda Accord before it hits the market:

Let There Be Lights

From the get-go, it’s pretty obvious that the Accord got a nip and tuck up front. Seeming to take some cues from Acura, the Accord gets a new set of LED headlights, a more futuristic looking metal grille, not to mention a slightly more aggressive diffuser.

In the back, you’re also getting a new set of lights, which keep the refresh subtle and handsome.

Hot Wheels

Gone are the bland, old wheels, and in their place comes a whole new stable of designs. At the top of the range you’ll even find some 19-inch wheels that give the car a more aggressive appearance.

Tech Ride

The exterior wasn’t the only thing that got a facelift. Inside Honda fitted a new 7-inch touchscreen display that runs both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Above that new touchscreen system, you’ll also find a 7.7-inch high-res screen that gives turn-by-turn navigation, displays audio—the whole lot.

Safety, Made Safer

The 2016 Accord also comes with a host of new safety features. Those features are all bundled into a Honda Sensing package that includes collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, and adaptive cruise control.

Yeah, this thing will keep you safe.

Efficiency and Power

Like the previous generation of Accord, for 2016, the new sedan gets your choice of either a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine or a 3.5-liter V6. Unlike the old Accord though, Honda ditched the standard automatic transmission on the 4-cylinder engine in place of a CVT.

But don’t worry, you can still opt for a six-speed manual or a standard six-speed automatic on the V6 version if you so choose.
