2017 Honda Pilot Gets Useful Upgrades in Small Refresh, But Still No Volume Knob

The new Honda Pilot hasn’t been out for that long, but the three-row crossover is already being refreshed.

The 2017 Honda Pilot gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, along with a new touchscreen that is resistant to fingerprints. There’s still no volume knob, but not having to look at a touchscreen full of greasy fingerprints is definitely a welcome change. The eight-inch touchscreen is also glare-resistant.

The Honda Pilot can hold up to eight passengers and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine can be paired to a six-speed automatic, or a nine-speed unit in upper trim lines, and the SUV should get drivers a combined 26 mpg.
