The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan will go on sale next month in the United States.
Following yesterday’s leak, Honda has announce the official pricing list of the 2016 Civic Sedan. If you are interested in one, you should know that the entry-level LX, equipped with a manual transmission, can be yours from 18,640 USD. This basically means that it’s 150 USD more expensive than the model it’s replacing. This is followed by the CVT variant, which costs 19,440 USD. For the Civic LX Sedan CVT, customers will have to pay 20,440 USD, while the EX Sedan CVT is priced from 21,040 USD. The Civic EX Sedan Honda Sensing CVT costs 22,040 USD. All these versions are packing a 2.0l engine.
Next in the lineup Honda is offering the EX-T Sedan 1.5l Turbo CVT from 22,200 USD. The most expensive variant is the Civic Touring Sedan 1.5l Turbo PZEV and it will be setting you back for 26,500 USD. The 2.0 liter 16-valve naturally aspirated engine is rated at 158 HP (118 kW) and it comes with either a 6-speed manual, in the entry-level, or a CVT, while the 1.5 liter turbo has 173 HP (129 kW) and it’s only bringing a CVT. The new Civic Sedan is in its 10th generation. This has grown significantly compared to its predecessor and it lost 31 kg from its weight. It has a 1.2-inch longer wheelbase, 3.7 extra cubic feet of space, 2.6 cubic feet more trunk capacity and 2 inches of additional legroom.
