The rollout of Honda’s 10th-generation Civic lineup will continue at the 2015 Los Angeles auto show when the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe makes its official debut. Honda will also show off the new hydrogen-powered Clarity Fuel Cell sedan that debuted at the Tokyo auto show.

We first got a preview of the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe when Honda showed a Civic concept (pictured at top) earlier this year. Now that we’ve seen the production Civic sedan, we have a good idea of what the two-door version will look like. It should feature even swoopier lines than the four-door, with a more sharply raked rear greenhouse for a sportier profile. A five-door hatchback variant, along with performance Civic Si and Type R variants, should follow the coupe starting in early 2016. As always, the standard Civic Coupe will share its platform and powertrains with the Civic sedan, meaning that we’ll get the choice of a 158-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 174-hp, 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Though the sedan offers a manual transmission only on the 2.0-liter engine, we’re holding out hope that the sportier Coupe might offer a manual with the punchier turbo-four.

Honda’s other Los Angeles auto show debut is the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell that first appeared at the Tokyo auto show a few weeks ago. This hydrogen-powered sedan is said to deliver a driving range of more than 300 miles, and will go on sale in the U.S. in 2016. Stay tuned for more information about these two Honda debuts next week.
