While you still can’t get behind the wheel of the new Honda Civic Type R , let alone the upcoming Civic Si, Honda enthusiasts are now able to at least nab a set of keys to a 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. Honda has now released pricing info for the entire Civic Coupe lineup, with a starting price of just under $20,000.
Dropping $19,885 in your local Honda dealer’s lap will land you a Civic Coupe LX with a standard six-speed manual transmission and 2.0-liter four-cylinder, pumping out 158 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, for the row-your-own-gears crowd, this is where the fun ends. The base LX is the only trim level for which the manual transmission is available on the Honda Civic Coupe. Springing for the CVT transmission lifts up the price an additional $850 to $20,735. The LX-P, which packs a few more features including moonroof and remote start comes in at $950 over the LX CVT, starting at $21,685.

Move up to the Civic Coupe EX, and Honda slots in their new 1.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder, good for 174 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. The EX gets more equipment as well, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, touchscreen infotainment, heated front seats, and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Prices for the EX begin at $23,135, and jump $1,125 to $24,260 for the leather-trimmed EX-L.
Finally, the top-of-the-line Civic Touring rings in at $26,960, a sizable $2,700 over the EX-L. The Touring adds a suite of safety features, including LED headlights and Honda Sensing active safety technology.
