2015 Frankfurt Motor Show LIVE: Honda Project 2&4 Concept image
The half bike, half car Honda Project 2&4 Concept has made its public debut recently during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Honda has initially shown the new Project 2&4 Concept over the web a week ago and now time has come for us to check it out live at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question is being offered in a single-seat configuration and it has been born after a collaboration between the design studios of motorcycle and automobile within Honda.
The one-off car is intended to combine the open-ride sensations of a motorbike with the maneuverability and safety of a car. The concept car is weighing in 405 kg and it is making use of the carmaker’s RC213V competition motorcycle engine, which has been modified from the usual MotoGP duties in order to run on public roads.
The engine is a 999cc V4 four-stroke and it has been connected to a six-speed dual clutch transmission. The total output produced stands at 210 HP, available at 13,000 rpm, and more than 118 Nm of torque, delivered at 10,500 rpm. Honda isn’t telling us about the performance figures of the Project 2&4 Concept at this time so chances are we will get to see it in the near future, once again. In the meantime, you can take a close look at it in the photo gallery posted below, coming live from the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show.
